Architectural Facades’ innovative “Lightweight Cast Superior Stone” LCS Stone™ product line is exclusively designed and produced by Architectural Facades Unlimited (AFU). 

LCS Stone™ has all the qualities, shape versatility, color availability, finish texture options, and durability of conventional cast stone products at one third the weight!  
Less weight equals reduced installation costs.

 LCS Stone™ is a hybrid Glass Fiber Reinforced Concrete (GFRC) product consisting of a ¼” GFRC skin that is backed-up with lightweight concrete. Molds for LCS Stone™ are the same quality as used for GFRC and Cast Stone. The result joins the two materials into one composite product which combines all the qualities of GFRC with a lightweight concrete interior core.

The finished surface of LCS Stone™ is GFRC. Architectural Facades Unlimited produces GFRC to the high standard of quality as established in the PCI Recommended Practice specification MNL-128-01.

Typical Anchorage of LCS Stone™ is accomplished with #12 self-tapping screw through tabs and adhesive thin set grout bonding the unit to a cement plaster substrate. Custom attachment details will be made available as per Project Specifications.
